Area and surroundings

The picturesque bay of Cala Llombards is in the south of Mallorca, near Santanyi and the village Es Llombards. It is a small vacation resort with a supermarket and a typical Mallorcan restaurant developed from 1969 around the cove of the same name, mostly made up of single-family houses. Cala Llombards is a wonderful beach, with white sand and turquoise water with several rocky areas from where many people make jumps. Outside the cove in the open sea to the left, there is a famous small island in the form of an arch, the subject of numerous reports, known by the name of es Pontàs. For shopping it is advisable to go to the center of Santanyi, which is 5 minutes away by car. Palma de Mallorca is about 55 km away.[IW]
